Wine for Jugheads
EDUCATING WITHOUT SNOBBERY
The Study hosts free wine and spirits tastings every Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Once a month we offer a sit down class with lighthearted education, a flight to savor and delicious munchies. Classes are $35-$50 and must be registered in advance via email or call 203-340-9410. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Upcoming Classes + Tastings
After hiding the eggs, stuffing the baskets, and managing sugar highs, we all love a family meal with a well-deserved glass of wine. Our good friend, Jennifer Young of Wilson Danienls will show some fresh vintages and pairing insights. Expect a new bright pink, a zippy white and a lamb loving red.
Vines LOVE Italy. Although 3/4 the size of California, Italy is the 2nd largest producer of wine in the world! With hundreds of native varietals, it is a treasure trove of wine intrigue. Explore the middle of the boot with Jim Krueger of Henry Provisions. He brings us personal vineyard experience and love for quality vino.
Don't mess with Mother...Earth. Most of the wines in The Study fall into one of the categories of Sustainable, Organic, Biodynamic or Natural. Sip, discuss and learn about what that all means with Peter Slykwa of Missing Link Wines.
Peter Slykwa of Missing Link will show off the diversity of Spanish wines from happy-snappy Txakolina to the iconic López de Heredia with a variety of good times in between.
Same region, same grape varieties, same wine producer - delightfully different wines. That is the baffling beauty of Burgundy. Ethan Hunt of Bouchard Père & Fils joins us in a deep dive into the nuanced land of the Cote d'Or.
